Men who don't dress well. Why?

I'm curious most this because ane of my friends is a super lazy dresser. We are talking hoodie,bad pants and slippers to college classes everyday. I've ever been super frustrated by this considering he has pretty bad depression and for me personally I know when I had depression I started dressing dainty and my confidence skyrocketed (LPT). Is it but an effort matter, or something else?

I am almost all of these things.

I don't intendance most clothes because I don't know how to dress well. I'one thousand not very comfy in public if I'k non at work in a suit and tie, like when I get out I've tried to look good and it just doesn't feel like I'm myself if I'one thousand not mismatched or some shit.

I have the money, I just don't know what to wear and at this point, I don't want to alter.

I would agree that people (friend included) don't care about wearing apparel however dressing dainty and having nice clothes are two different things. You can apparel nicely without having to spend alot of coin.

Yep I don't know what's fashionable. I generally go with a tee-shirt or flannel and a pair of jeans that fits well, and the same pair of tennis shoes I wear every where. Switch to boots if it's snowing or I'thousand doing stuff outdoors. If it fashionable? Fuck if I know but it's comfortable, and that's what I intendance about.

Depression can exist a valid reason simply sometimes I just say "who the fuck am I trying to print today?" and decide I deserve to be comfortable and anyone who takes offence ain't someone I'd desire to associate with anyways.

You tin can be comfy and dress overnice likewise. My suits are some of the most comfortable things I own. Idk why people always associate looking homeless with comfy and looking nice with uncomfortable.

Ya I def have my DGAF days. (like today my grey fit is on point). Even so for me I looked myself in the mirror and I wasn't maxim 'Fuck, I'thousand a sexy motherfucker!' notwithstanding depression is dissimilar for everyone so idk if information technology would be a huge boost to him similar it was for me or not. However he constantly talks well-nigh how a GF would help him (don't concord but besides the betoken) and I'one thousand only thinking who would start a chat with a guy dressed like he doesn't care (not saying he or anyone doesn't care merely hopefully my point gets across)

What's the indicate of dressing nice for grade? If he'southward more than comfortable in a hoodie and slippers that seems like the way to go for me. I wear a hoodie and jeans to my classes because it's the most comfortable matter that also does well in dissimilar weather. I don't need to look adept to sit in class for viii hours.

I agree. I wore jeans, a t shirt and a hoodie. I didn't go to class to do anything but learn and to socialise.

during my first calendar month of technology form, at that place's a guy who wore adjust and necktie to class. Now everyone keep making fun of him. Thus, i totally agree with y'all.. don't clothes well to class. Dress decently is enough.
