The company is known to utilize social media marketing, specially on Instagram. Way Nova was founded in 2006 by its CEO Richard Saghian.[v] He started his career in the retail industry by working at his father'due south clothing boutique located in Los Angeles.[3] Way Nova opened its start location in Panorama City, Los Angeles, within the Panorama Mall, selling inexpensive "guild-habiliment" attire. In December 2019, the Us Department of Labor launched an investigation and found that some Fashion Nova suppliers or subcontractors hired workers who were paid as petty as $2.77 an hour and that the suppliers owed $three.viii million in back wages to hundreds of workers.[9] [x] [11] [12]
